Karen is a lifelong East Anchorage resident; she attended K-12 in East Anchorage public schools and raised her family in the community. With decades of experience as a teacher and community council member, Karen has the relationships and insight to stand up for East Anchorage. Karen supports transitioning Anchorage away from fossil fuels and improving infrastructure for non-motorized transportation to address climate change and inequity. Karen believes in fostering resources for families to grow and thrive in Anchorage and is committed to being a voice for the underserved. Karen will work hard for East Anchorage, and we are excited to support her for District 5.
