In both issue and electoral advocacy, the Digital Organizer engages supporters through email, social media, digital ads, mobile platforms, website(s) and other online mediums. This position will work collaboratively with organizers and program staff to implement best practice communications strategies to engage Alaskans on key issues and build support for our programs. The Digital Organizer position is ideal for a detail-oriented writer, marketer, and organizer who is ready to work collaboratively and effectively to manage digital plans from start to finish.

JUNEAU! Join our Canvass Team!
The Alaska Center is looking to hire conservation canvassers on an ongoing, as-needed basis; and for the 2018 summer season. We are looking for outgoing, passionate individuals to reach out to the public to find new supporters. Canvassers work alongside Deputy Canvass Directors and the Canvass Director to interface with Alaskans on key conservation issues, with conversations taking place in person, over the phone, and at events. Our goal is to identify and activate supporters on various conservation campaigns that protect the Alaskan way of life. Duties include: Going door to door and making phone calls, educating Alaskans on a variety of timely issues. Salary is dependent on experience, and hours will vary.
