Development Director

We seek a Development Director to oversee our donor relations program and manage our fundraising initiatives. This position is responsible for developing and overseeing our fundraising strategy and campaigns, communicating with donors, and galvanizing a team of staff, board, and volunteers to raise funds. This position must thrive on relationship building and understand the critical importance of engaging others to sustain our work over the long-term. Extensive fundraising experience is not a must, but the right candidate will demonstrate a high attention to detail, contagious enthusiasm for donor cultivation, and ability to inspire and lead others.

Conservation Canvass Organizer

We are looking for outgoing, passionate individuals to reach out to the public and find new supporters. Conservation Canvass Organizers will work with the Field and Volunteer Director and the Canvass Director to interface with Alaskans on key conservation issues and maintain relationships with passionate action takers to sustain support. Conversations take place in person, at doors, over the phone, and at events. This position may occasionally require travel outside of Anchorage. Our goal is to identify and activate supporters on various conservation campaigns that protect the resources that sustain our cultures and way of life.

AYEA 20th Anniversary Celebration Coordinator

This Coordinator will plan and implement AYEA’s 20th Anniversary Celebration that was rescheduled due to the earthquake and will work closely with AYEA alumni and Alaska Center staff to implement both a Gala on Friday and a Reunion on Saturday. This person would ideally be based in Anchorage. Dates: mid May – mid Oct 10, ~5 hours per week. Compensation Depends On Experience.
