We need our leaders to make policy decisions to ensure community solar is possible. It’s time to plant those seeds for community solar this legislative session.
Devoting time, energy, & resources to this will be a delicate dance; we have yet to see this Gov hit the ballroom floor. Is he a secret Fred Astaire?
2022 was our first year using ranked-choice voting (RCV) and open primaries, which Alaskans voted to implement by ballot measure in 2020.
We hope this is the year everyone decides to work together and with the tools at hand. It is not asking for a lot. Let’s think practical and hope big.
We know that these first few bills are calling upon us to take special heed of them, and we are excited to see what else lies ahead.
