Teamwork & Team Play
Description of Teamwork & Team Play program including brochure
Welcome to the Wonderful World of T.E.A.M. building
where “Together Everyone Achieves More!”
How Our Program Works
Through group initiative games, low ropes elements, trust scenarios and other adventure activities students experience a joyful sense of adventure, a willingness to move past previously set limits, and the satisfaction of solving problems together.
Well-trained adult environmental educators organize and lead your group’s program. Our energetic and service-minded instructors are with you every step of the way to ensure a fun, educational, and memorable experience for all participants.
Scenarios are presented in such a way that children must cooperate with one another, sharing ideas, creating plans, and making group decisions. As groups work together from challenge to challenge, Trailside staff readily guide students as they make choices and make necessary mistakes on their journey to discover solutions and find success.

Teamwork & Team Play Values
Cooperation
Everyone has ideas to be discovered. Sometimes you must lead and other times you must follow. Students will share ideas and take on various roles as they work through challenges together.
Social Awareness
Students will see how their behavior affects others and vice versa. Listening to other perspectives is key to solving challenges. Positive actions and communication are encouraged.
Responsibility & Trust
Expectations are set and students must decide how they will act. The benefits of acting responsibly will come to light. Ways to trust and be trusted are explored.
Support
Being concerned for the safety of others, lending a physical helping hand, and giving encouragement are a few ways students will support one another to accomplish a common goal.
Decision Making
Experimenting with various strategies to solve problems, groups will discover how to choose from a variety of plans , involve every member of the group, and be fair in the process.
