Welcome to Trailside's Outreach Programs

Trailside Discovery offers a wide array of outdoor programs that allow youth to get back to nature while developing skills relating to science, self, and the world at large.  All of the programs listed to the right are part of our outreach education endeavors whereby Trailside staff will come directly to you and your kids.  Designed with state and local curriculum standards in mind, Trailside's programs offer a perfect opportunity for students to break out of the traditional classroom and experience the wonders of our outdoor classroom.  Our programs also serve as a great supplement to scouting programs.

We offer full-day (4 class sessions) and half-day (2 class sessions) programs.  Individual class sessions are designed to last one hour each.  The maximum number of students we can accommodate is approximately 30 per program.  Custom programs can be tailored to the needs and schedule of your students or group.

We charge a fee of $10/student for full day sessions and $5/student for half day sessions.  Discounts and a limited number of no cost programs are available for Title I school groups.  Please call the number below for current details regarding special rates for Title I school groups.
