Take Action

Opportunities to talk to your representatives, other community members, and project developers.

There are three simple action items that you can take now:

  • Contact your Assembly members.

Your representatives on the Anchorage Assembly are working for you, the constituent, and when time comes to vote on contracts you want them to be informed and ask the right questions.  Let them know what you think about these proposals and remember - you don't have to be an expert!  To find out who represents you, click here.

Contact your representatives.

  • Submit your comments.

Submit your comments to the project engineers at DOWL HKM.  Comments will be collected for the duration of the project.

  • Write a letter to the editor.

Letters to the editor are the most heavily read part of the newspaper.  You, me, and our decision makers want to see what people in the community think.  Write a 200 word (stick to the limit!) summary of your thoughts on U-Med transit and send it to letters@adn.com.  Make sure to include your full name, contact information (such as address & phone number) so they can verify your identity.  This information will not be printed with your letter.

Check back to this website for updates and upcoming meetings.  Contact Nick for more information.
