Celebrate the life and work of Rachel Carson with this annual event featuring live music by Amy Lou Hettinger, guest speaker Sarah Dunagan of the Silent Spring Institute, readings of Rachel Carson's work, informational booths, organic gardening and non-toxic pest management information, kids activiites, organic carrot cake, and more!
Food available from Zorba's Gyros from 5:30-7:00pm.
Meet Bicycle Commuters of Anchorage at 4:30pm at the juncture of Chester Creek and Coastal Trails for a ride from Westchester Lagoon to Kincaid Park.
