Community Workshop Series

Learn to make real change for your community!buildyourtoolkit

Given the right tools anyone can build a stronger community, create effective advocacy campaigns, and be heard by law makers. We want to give you those tools.

This summer, The Alaska Center is joining with other Alaska non-profits to lead a  community workshop series designed to educate and empower burgeoning and long standing advocates. We have broken out these series of workshops to focus on the fundamentals and each attendee will get the opportunity to use their skills to effect policy in real time. Combining workshops and nights of action we hope to empower community leaders to continue their work in their own neighborhoods.

Sign up for one or all the workshops and action nights. Contact kristen@akcenter.org to get involved.
Build your toolkit, not every hurdle needs a hammer.
